Anna
is a freelance graphic artist, designer and web designer based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Communications from New York University in 2013. She audited classes in Graphic Design and Website Development at Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2016 and 2017.
On a whim, the summer before her freshman year of college, Anna decided to venture to New York City for college instead of staying close to home as she had originally planned. Between immersing herself into a city and culture completely outside of her comfort zone and entering the fine art world and fashion industry, Anna began developing an artistic side of herself she had not yet realized.
After graduating from NYU, Anna began a full time internship with Rosie Assoulin, a luxury women’s fashion house that was swiftly gaining traction. During her time at Rosie Assoulin, Anna worked her way from intern to Production Coordinator to right hand to the Creative Director as the Development Coordinator. She had the privilege of working with and learning from some of the most talented designers, artisans, and pattern makers in New York. Her main responsibility was managing the ready-to-wear collection development, as well as knitwear, jewelry, shoe, and accessory design. Anna also oversaw and assisted in the development of numerous special projects including hand-painting, tie-dying, and embellishing garments.
With these invaluable experiences in the creative process and development under her belt, Anna left her job and New York City in the spring of 2016 to pursue her own design career. She enrolled in graphic design and web design classes at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and took off running with a freelance business only a year later. Anna quickly grew to love freelancing when she realized the rewarding feeling that came from helping bring another person’s vision for a new business, venture, or dream come to fruition.
